New Greater Vancouver Real Estate Stats - April 2019

The newest Vancouver Real Estate stats have been released today.  Here is a quick summary...
 
Real Estate sales are down 30% from last year, which makes sense because last year was the busiest and highest real estate sales and value in Greater Vancouver's history.  Also, prices are down in comparison from last year. The home price index is down 8.5% from last year. 
 
Now here are some more current stats that are valid to today's market, Month to month stats are completely different. 
 
- The amount of properties for sale are up 16% in comparison to March 2019 
 
- Home Price Index is down 0.3% in comparison to March 2019
 
- Detached home prices are down 0.8% in comparison to March 2019
 
- Condo home prices are unchanged from March 2019.
 
 
These numbers tell me we might be at the bottom or nearing the bottom of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Market when it comes to price and value.
